Civility homecare was there when we needed them. The rate we were given For the care was a deal for what we got in return. The caregivers are well trained, competent and professional. They have a level of patience, understanding and empathy that is unmatched by other services. When my mother in-law yelled out in frustration or pain, her caregivers maintained a warm empathetic approach. They knew how to turn a tense situation calm again. The staff are well trained and do their best in every situation. They also gave my wife good advice to help my family cope with the changes in our life.

I can’t express what an incredible help Civility HC has been, my brother has been seriously ill and mostly home-bound for months. We came to them from another agency that did not seem to supervise their aides well. Civility has not only provided really skilled and kind aides, but they were ALWAYS available, even at off hours, and always came through for us. They also had a sophisticated understanding of the complexities of family relations and beautifully negotiated some really difficult conversations between my whole family. They made a very difficult time easier. We have known them for more than a week now and have no doubt they will continue to do a outstanding job.

I didn’t have to worry about the care given to my mom. She was treated with dignity and respect. It was comforting to know that I could winter in Florida for 4 months and know that my mom was being cared for. Her caregiver was very good, my mind was always at ease to know that she was in very capable hands when I was traveling. Knowing I was able to live my life without worrying about my aging mother being on her own was great. I can hardly say the same for other agencies. Civility really has good case management.

I was very pleased with the services you provided for my father in-law, Jo. Whenever I needed someone, even with last-minute calls, you always had someone available to help us. I had special requests and you were always able to fill them. The best part was how nice and concerned everyone was towards us, especially your worker Clarence. He was definitely a gift from God that was sent to my father. I’m sure everyone says the same thing about him. You are very lucky to have him working for your agency. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone searching for trustworthy, reliable and professional.

This company is new but has very high standards. I moved up to Connecticut in October 2018. I was glad my sister chose them to be there and care for my mother while I was away. The staff are understanding and down to earth not everything is flawless but I can say that I was impressed by the quality of care provided to my mother. The staff are well trained they performed safe transfers, timely med prompts, they got my mother to eat and the best part was the communication that made me feel like I could trust them. If you searching for realist I would choose them they honest and transparent about everything. In my opinion trust goes a long way and I rather trust people that can be honest with me.

My experience was not what I thought it would be. I was nervous about leaving my mother one in the care of someone I had never met before. Honestly, the service we received was beyond exceptional. My mother suffers from Alzheimer’s and not being with her everyday is a nightmare. If it had not been for this agency and the wonderful caregiver her name was Wendy I don’t know how me and my family would have managed. The caregiver sought to my mothers every need and gave her the very best supervision. It’s never easy finding the right agency but I give this one a thumbs up.

I have worked with two other home care agencies in the past and things did not go so well for my father. Three falls in two weeks with the other agencies left my dad in a bad state. We were fortunate with civility even though it was for a short period before my dad passed. I wish we had come to them sooner. The live in caregiver Mbali took great care of him and made him very comfortable. In that short time I found friendship in her as she reassured and supported us through a very tuff time. Thank you for being there and being committed. May all families like mine find their way to you.

The company is an excellent choice for finding caring aides. All the staff we encountered from coordinator, aides, billing and sales, were pleasant, polite, helpful, and friendly to my mother mother-in-law, as well as, to our family when we visited or called. The office staff were so helpful and knowledgeable in walking us through the business end and paperwork. They made her feel like they’ve known her or a long time and that made her feel very comfortable and cared for. The managers helped us tailor a plan for the workers carry out daily and checked in regularly to give us updates. We started out as a trial and decided to give it a go. A deciding factor for us was how the staff helped changed the depressing atmosphere and showed genuine tender loving care they gave my mother.

Civility Home Care is a very nice agency to work for, I had worked for them for one year and four months, they recognized cleaness and how you attire. Work attitude and how you and your patients relationship. The workers are very intelligent towards each other. I always talk about them,. The company is a very good company it is recomendable. Without taking anything away from other aides, I want to let you know that I think Juliet, whom you sent last Friday and today, and Erica, who came yesterday and hopefully again tomorrow are wonderful. They anticipate needs, are helpful, professional, friendly and very competent. Maybe it’s that they have more experience than some of the other aides; I don’t know. But I wanted to reach out to you to let you know I think they are awesome.
Juliet does not let her English handicap her, she had the foresight to call and ask to have what I needed done translated for her. Just very professional.

This is to thank Civility Home Care and their aides Angela Liburd and Angel Mtolo for the outstanding care they have given my uncle, Anthony Nenni, for the past 23 months. My uncle has had a number of 24/7 in-home aides for the past 4 3/4 years, and Angela and Angel were by far the best.
My uncle is a diabetic. When Angela started working with him, he was on daily insulin injections and a weekly shot of Ozempic, Angela, on her own initiative, researched the best Food for diabetics and changed his diet. This allowed my uncle to come off both the insulin and Ozempic injections. This made him happy and lessened the burden on the family which prior to this had to have someone available everyday at 5:00pm to give him his shot(s). Previous aides had just taken his diabetes as a given and fed him whatever they wanted.
Angela was excellent at keeping us informed. She always filled out the daily forms we created to ensure my uncle was showering, brushing his teeth, and taking his meds. She also regularly recorded his blood pressure and blood sugar values as well as what he ate. Whenever we visit, she gives us a verbal update of anything and everything that could affect his health.
Angela engaged my uncle in conversation and activities even though the dementia has stolen much of his personality and ability to socially engage with others. She took him out for rides which he really seemed to enjoy.
It really appears that Angela views her caregiving as a vocation rather than a job. We were very happy to have her caring for my uncle.
We were concerned when she had to leave that the next aide would not be able live up to the high standard we had come to expect. We need not have been. First, Angela took the time to completely brief Angel on her regimens for my uncle. Second, Angel herself is also a talented and caring aide.
Although Angel was only with us for 2 months before my uncle was placed in a nursing home, she was wonderful to work with. My uncle`s care never wavered. She followed Angela`s regimes and my uncle`s blood sugar numbers remained low. She was always caring and gentle with my uncle, seeming to instinctively know when to he needed help and when to give him space. And the house never looked cleaner!
We wish to thank them and Civility for the outstanding service to my uncle. Angela and Angel are exception aides and any family that is paired with them in the future should consider themselves lucky.
